Technology in the Land of Milk and Honey helps world production

Jerusalem

Shalom Israel,
O God, do not remain silent… with cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish. ‘Come,’ they say, ‘let us destroy them as
a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.’
(Psalm 83: 1-2)
A pre-dawn gun battle along Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip left two dead
when a terrorist infiltrated Israel by cutting through a security fence on
Friday (June 1).
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) believes the purpose of the gunman’s mission
was the abduction of an IDF soldier
and/or to attack a nearby kibbutz.

Staff Sgt. Netanel Moshiashvili died on Friday while defending Israel from a
terrorist attack.
When terrorist Ahmed Nassir was spotted, the Golani Brigade was immediately
dispatched.
The unit engaged the intruder, and in the exchange of fire, a young 21-year-old
Jewish soldier, Netanel Moshiashvili was killed
before the terrorist himself
was shot dead.
“Due to the fast response by the Israel Defense Forces, a larger terrorist
attack in the area was thwarted,”
the commander of the Gaza Division’s
Southern Brigade, Col. Tal Hermoni said.
Islamic Jihad welcomed the attack and hailed Nassar a martyr who had
carried out a heroic attack.

Avivim school bus massacre: these IDF soldiers hold a memorial wreath
for the victims of the Avivim massacre of 1970. Terrorists ambushed the
school bus in the early morning, just 10 minutes outside Moshav Avivim, as
the children were on their way to school. Shooting from both sides of the
road, they killed 12 civilians; nine of these innocents were children.
Senior IDF officials have stated that Palestinian terrorists have intensified
their efforts to abduct Israeli soldiers and citizens.
So far, 20 attempts of kidnapping Jewish citizens and soldiers have taken
place in 2012.
Israeli soldiers and the public at large have been advised not to wait alone at
bus and train stations and to be alert for unusual activity.
Recently, a Palestinian terrorist cell called the “Holy Warriors Battalion”
was discovered operating inside Israeli prisons.
The group, which was plotting to kidnap Israeli citizens, is affiliated with
the Fatah political party.
The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), who unmasked the group, believes they
intended to use hostages as a means of negotiating the release of Palestinian
prisoners.

On August 18, 2011, a three-prong terrorist attack against Israeli
citizens
began with terrorists opening fire on a public bus (Egged) bound for
Eilat, a popular vacation destination. Seven people were killed and about 40
were injured.
After two thousand years of exile, the Jewish People have prophetically
returned to Israel en masse after the Holocaust. Israel was reborn as the
Biblical homeland of the Jewish people, a place where they could be safe, but
today the average citizen has to worry about being kidnapped. Can you
imagine that happening in your city?
"He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he
will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the
earth." (Isaiah 11:12)
"Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem;
He will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."
(Isaiah 31:5)
Terrorism against Israel comes in all kinds of forms, including gunmen,
suicide bombers, and rocket attacks. This child's bloodied shoe was found
inside the shopping mall in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon after a
missile was fired by Palestinian militants from inside the Gaza Strip. Several
Israelis were severely injured, including a woman and a child.
Israel Repatriates Palestinian Terrorists
Palestinians rejoiced on May 31, when Israel turned over to the Palestinian
Authority (PA) the remains of 91 terrorists responsible for violent attacks
against the Jewish nation and the deaths of over 200 Israelis.
The Israeli government called the move a goodwill gesture toward the Palestinians.
“We hope that this humanitarian gesture will serve both as a confidence-
building measure and help get the peace process back on track,” said Mark
Regev, an Israeli government spokesperson (New York Times).
The list of the bodies transferred includes:
  • Ramez Aslim, the suicide bomber who killed six Jewish people when he
    attacked Jerusalem’s Cafe Hillel in 2003;
  • Nasim Ja’bari and Ahmed Qawassmeh, the suicide bombers who exploded
themselves on two buses in Beersheba, killing 16 Jewish people in 2004; and
  • Hiba Daraghmeh, a woman who killed three Jewish people when she blew
herself up in a shopping mall in 2003.

On August 9, 2001, on a holiday afternoon, the Sbarro pizzeria in downtown
Jerusalem was bombed in a Palestinian terrorist attack. The restaurant was
filled with customers and the traffic outside was at its peak when a suicide
bomber detonated his explosives filled with nails, nuts and bolts. Fifteen
civilians were killed and 130 were wounded
. Ahlam Tamimi, who escorted
the bomber to Sbarro, was released in a prisoner exchange for Israeli soldier
Gilad Shalit late last year.
In an interview after her release, she said she
had no regrets and would do it again!
In Ramallah, at a ceremony presided over by Palestinian Authority (PA)
president Mahmoud Abbas, where 79 coffins were draped with Palestinian flags,
PA government officials honored the memory of these Islamic terrorists
calling them
martyrs.
It has long been a source of deep concern that Palestinians often exalt
terrorism, glorifying its perpetrators by naming public areas after them, and
teaching their Arab children that killing Jews through suicide attacks is an
honorable form of ‘martyrdom.’

Palestinian children are systematically indoctrinated in
the ideology of martyrdom and incited to participate in
all kinds of violence against Israel, including stone
throwing and suicide bombing.

Assassination Attempts on Americans and Israelis Linked to Iran
The Washington Post (WP) reported last Monday that Islamic terrorists with
links to Iran had planned to kill United States diplomats and assault the
Jewish community
in Azerbaijan.
The report stated that the Azerbaijan plots were believed to be part of a wider
onslaught against Israel and America through attacks on diplomats in several
countries.
In February this year, Israeli diplomats were targeted in India and Thailand.
The wife of an Israeli Jewish diplomat was severely injured in New Delhi
when an Indian man on a motorbike placed a magnet car bomb on her vehicle.
The Indian man, along with three Iranians, were charged with planning the attack.
The following day, a plan to murder Israeli Jewish diplomats in Bangkok was
exposed when a car bomb exploded ahead of time. Two Iranians were caught
in connection with this attempt.

Ayatollah hamenei: The Supreme Leader of Iran
is the highest ranking political and Islamic religious
authority in Iran.
Please pray for the Holy Land and the Jewish People; Iran’s leader of the
Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, has unrelentingly opposed the State of
Israel calling it a "cancerous tumor" that "must be, and will be, cut off."
However we trust in the Hebrew Scriptures as the Word of God says:
This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea
so that its waves roar__the Lord Almighty is his name: 'Only if these
decrees vanish from my sight,' declares the Lord, 'will the descendants
of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me.' (Jeremiah 31:35-36)
Israeli Technology Changing the World for the Better
“Look down from heaven, Your holy dwelling place, and bless Your people
Israel and the land You have given us as You promised on oath to our
forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.” (Deuteronomy 26:15)
In May, 80 official delegations from around the world, including South America,
Africa, China and India, attended Israel’s AgriTech 2012.
Also present were unofficial delegations from Arab countries.
“It’s fair to say that Israel’s agricultural technology industry is pretty much
immune to the ‘boycott Israel’ movement
,” marveled event chairman Dani
Meiri (Times of Israel).
Attendees were treated to 250 exhibitions in all aspects of agricultural
technology, including climate systems, genetics, cattle and poultry monitoring,
seed production and water conservation.

AgriTech 2012
An important aspect of the exhibition was milk technology.
“Israeli cows are the world’s most productive, with cows able to yield up to
12,000 liters of milk annually,” Meiri said.
“Farmers come from all over the world to learn how we do it, and we export
that technology as well. Right now we have a huge project in Vietnam, where
we are working to improve production of 32,000 cows
.”

Electric Car Network Up and Running in Israel
“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your
name
great, and you will be a blessing.” (Genesis 12:2, see also Genesis
28: 13-15)
Israeli CEO and founder of Better Place, Shai Agassi wants to provide the
world with an alternative to oil-powered motoring and is developing the first
nationwide electric car network.
An innovative battery swapping solution tackles the problems of high cost
and limited range for which electric vehicles have been known. Agassi also
plans to sell the cars for $5000 less than the average American gasoline car.
Agassi has designed charging networks in which drivers can stop at switching
stations to quickly exchange their emptying battery for a fully charged one.
An additional 40 stations will be up and running across Israel later this year.

Israel, the fact that there are those committed to Israel’s destruction does
not stop this tiny country from innovating and finding ways to be a blessing to
all of humankind.
But the biggest blessing Israel has given to the world is Yeshua, and
Christians owe Israel a tremendous debt of gratitude.
Still, almost all of the Jewish people today (99%) do not know Yeshua.
Please help us as we bring the Gospel to Israel and the world. We cannot do
it alone; you are important part of our ministry here in the Holy Land.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
