Ephesians 4:13 states, "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." This is our goal for education: to grow in full stature of Christ. Jesus Christ is our only role-model because when He first created man He "created man in His own image" (Genesis 1:27). So how do we become like Christ? We must have the mind of Jesus of humbling ourselves and confessing to the world that Jesus Christ is our Lord (Philippians 2:5-11).

True Education begins with faith and lasts forever. To know how to perfect our characters to be like Christ, we must have faith and study God's word. Since all scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16), it is the perfect standard of truth and deserves the highest place in education. It is only by understanding and studying the truth that we may be cleansed and have a pure and perfect mind, soul, and body. Today's schools are teaching the wrong concept of education and it is destroying us! Knowledge of this world only gives us pride,which makes us pervert God's image into corruptible things and have a closed heart. In order to enter the kingdom of God, we must be born again with the help of the word of God and the Holy Spirit. We must cleanse our minds of the knowledge of this world and take up our cross and become a servant of God. Therefore, we must use our time in this world as a preparatory school for the greater school in heaven.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must overcome temptations daily for this is the work of education and we must teach others of this higher education to train them to become servants of our heavenly Father. We all must partake of this true education to strengthen our characters so that the truth and uprightness we hold will not be sacrificed to selfish desires or world ambitions. "Every human being, created in the image of God, is endowed with a power akin to that of the Creator-individuality, power to think and to do...It is the work of true education to develop this power, to train the youth to be thinkers, and not mere reflectors of other men's thought."-Education 17

Essentially, let us now die with our worldly knowledge and be born again with a new thirst for heaven's knowledge. Let us be one who can show Jesus our spotless characters on the day when He shall come again to this earth. Let us all start reshaping our characters now for time is short.
